Real Estate Phil
Lifetime Edina resident Phil Holm graduated in 1981 from Edina East High School and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Minnesota. For the past four years Phil has exploded on the Twin Cities Real Estate scene listing and selling homes across the metro area. “This career really is not about buying or selling houses it’s about helping people, and that’s what really juices me about this business. I thrive on helping people find what they are looking for…” Specializing in guiding first time home buyers, (many of whom are former students using a trusted guide) Phil excels at listing properties and helping home owners prepare their homes for market. “All homes will sell if the listing price accurately reflects the homes current condition and location.”

Trumpeter Phil
Phil Holm is beginning his sixteenth year as lead trumpet in the Casablanca Orchestra (CBO) and is the musical director for the band as well. Phil has performed in numerous ensembles in the Twin Cities over the past 30 years including; The Minnesota Vikings band, The Wolverines Classic Jazz Orchestra, North Stars Power Players, Bozo Allegro, Cedar Avenue Big Band and Latin Sounds Orchestra just to name a few. In his younger days Phil toured with Troupe America featured as "Biff Baker" in the national Tour of the Broadway hit musical the “1940's Radio hour.” Phil also has performed with National recording artists The Temptations, Bobby Vinton and Roger Williams.

Educator Phil
Currently Phil is one of the directors for Minnesota Youth Jazz Bands (MYJB) as well as director of The South Side Big Band. MYJB now in it’s fourth season, has three dynamic Jazz Ensembles and is comprised of the best young up and coming jazz players in the Twin Cities area. Phil graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. Phil has taught music across the State of Minnesota for over 18 years including ten years at Southview Middle School in Edina. Respected and valued as an enthusiastic educator and first-rate Clinician, Phil makes time regularly for conducting trumpet clinics and teaching at the University of Eau Claire Jazz festival and the Award winning Bernie Edstrom Jazz Camp.

Family Phil
Phil has been fortunate enough to hitch his little red wagon to his beautiful wife Kathleen Mulrooney. Together they have four girls Natasha, Francesca, Gabriella and Sophia ages10 and under. His favorite quotes are "It aint' no fun, if it Aint' no fun," "Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away," and "Every choice you make leads to your destiny."
